The Tribeca Film Festival kicked off this week, and New York’s jewelry stars came out to shine.
Vanity Fair hosted the opening night party at the State Supreme Court House, and the festivities continued into Wednesday with the premiere of Woody Allen’s new film, Whatever Works.
It doesn’t get any more “New York” than that.
Designer, Tory Burch, is known for her statement jewelry on the catwalks, and she certainly made a big one with these stunning chandelier earrings that perfectly accent her orange and black Narciso Rodriguez cocktail number.
And the diamond divas didn’t disappoint with New York’s first daughter, Ivanka Trump, in icy danglers from her own jewelry line, Edie Falco glaming it up in tasteful tear-drops and the star of Woody Allen’s latest, Evan Rachel Wood, who looked every bit the Audrey Hepburn acolyte in a black cocktail dress with vintage diamonds to die for.
The Tribeca Film Festival was founded by none other than Robert De Niro to help revitalize the lower Manhattan area after the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
“It’s great to see how much the festival has grown since we started it in 2002 and how it has impacted this neighborhood,” he told reporters.
And with a jury that includes the likes of Uma Thurman and Meg Ryan, you can bet we’ve only just begun to see the dazzling jewelry style that only New York’s finest can bring.
