Add jewelry designer to Angelina Jolie’s growing list of accomplishments. See some of the exclusive gems she created that only a select few can get for their jewelry box.
Angelina Jolie is using her celebrity status not just to make jewels look good on the red carpet but to help children in need.
Together with her jewelry guru, Robert Procop, former CEO of luxury outfit, Asprey, Jolie launched a jewelry collection to benefit her personal charity, The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
“Angelina has very classic style,” Procop told WWD, who showed items from their collection in London last week. “These are pieces she wears herself.”
Among the collaborative pieces are a pebble-size, pale green 353-carat beryl pendant in a rose gold setting and worn on a chain of cushion shape beryl stones, and a graphic, tablet-shape 12.02-carat vivid green emerald ring set in rose gold.
Procop said Jolie’s design for the ring was inspired by “ancient tablet engravings,” and is based on a similar design she created with Procop as a gift for her husband, Brad Pitt.
But most of Angelina’s deep-pocketed fans won’t have access to the gorgeous gems. Each individually priced piece will only be sold privately through Procop’s network of clients.
